So after a long time of telling myself I wanted to blog about my development and other projects I finally got around to creating one. I have no idea how regular I will post, how polished my posts will be, or if topics will even be somewhat related. But hey this is for me and if others find it useful then that is a win for everyone!

My name is Mike, I am a Software Engineer who has been in the field for close to 10 years mostly in the Java stack. I love to dabble in new technology and tinker with my Raspberry Pi. Outside of programming some hobbies that I enjoy are: fish keeping, backpacking, kayaking, mountain biking, traveling, and playing board games.
